Kita Kazoo has been tattooing since 1989 and apprenticed under award winning artist Dan Brown of Yuma AZ. She has owned and operated both Royal Oak Tattoo and Happy Valley Tattoo together with her husband of 21 years Doc Loco. She loves to do all types of tattooing, from super realistic to new style. Doc Loco has been tattooing and piercing since 1991. He learned to pierce from Mike Natali - Mr. Bravo, back in the beginning days of piercing. When it comes to tattooing he is in semi retirement to pursue publishing and performing his original rhythm and blues. Well now where should I begin?

I’m a tattoo intern here at Happy Valley Tattoo & Piercing. I’m a hand drummer, guitarist (kind of), pianist, and artist. I live somewhere in Utah just like every one else here in “ Utah ” only I’m a needle amongst a stack of cowboys and whatnots.

I enjoy being at my new beginnings and leaving my old ends every day. I have no complaints with life except George W. I look forward to being an artist with artists for a change - hell yeah, word to the diggy.

I’m Paul I am from here in Utah County. I have been drawing ever since I can remember and I have wanted to be a tattoo artist since I was a kid. I love doing tattoos and I am into New School artwork. I have been an apprentice Since November of 2006.

I have a two-year old son, who is a lot of fun, and I have been married for 3 years. My wife is the body piercer here at Happy Valley Tattoo and I love being able to work with her.

Being a receptionist for five years, I never thought I would get the chance to do something as cool and fun as tattooing for a career. I started working the receptionist job at Happy Valley Tattoo & Piercing in January 2007, expressed my interest in tattoos, got serious about it, and now I am fortunate enough to be working as a tattoo apprentice.

I was born in the Philippines and raised in the San Jose Bay Area. I moved to Utah in 2006 with my wonderful husband, Bryan, and our two cats. I still really miss California but being in Utah hasn’t been so bad, it’s just an extremely different lifestyle than what I am used to. It’s a little slower paced for me out here than what I am used to but I am learning to cope and go with the flow.

My interests, besides tattoos and tattooing, include any and all kinds of art, sewing and crafts, watching good movies (no chick flicks), reading good books, and playing video games. I have been into art since I was very young and I love drawing and painting especially. Other than that, I’m a pretty boring person… the end :)
