Hours: Open: Tuesday through Saturday - Noon to 8:00 PM. We do not start any tattoos after 7:00 PM. Our last piercing appointment is at 7:30PM. (Closed: Sunday & Monday)

Walk-ins: If we have the time available we will take walk-in appointments. However, we recommend that you plan ahead a few days and make an appointment for your tattoo or piercing service, especially if you are coming from out of town or need a babysitter. You must make an appointment in person as it requires a deposit.

No Small Children, No Infants: Sorry no children are allowed in the studio at any time. If you bring children to the studio you will be asked to remove them immediately.

Drugs and Alcohol: Persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave the studio. Clients who arrive for service “under the influence” will forfeit their appointment and deposit.

Food and Beverages: Utah County Law PROHIBITS food and beverages in the “Service Area”. Food and beverages are not allowed in the studio.

Identification: We require official Government Issued, Photo Identification from every client, such as, Drivers License, State ID Card, Military ID Card, Passport or Birth Certificate (Birth Certificate must be accompanied by school photo ID)

Minors and Parental Consent: Utah County does not allow minors to receive tattoo services regardless of parental consent. Body Piercing is allowed for minors with the exception of tongue, nipple and genital piercing (also branding and scarification/cutting) which in Utah County are prohibited for minors regardless of parental consent.

Parents or Legal Guardians may sign for their minor child to receive most body piercings at Happy Valley Tattoo.

The Parent or Guardian must fill out the client release and provide Government issued Photo Identification. Legal Guardians additionally must provide Court Issued Guardianship Papers. The Parent or Legal Guardian is required by Utah State Law to observe the entire service procedure.

Donations: We accept Cash, Credit or Debit Cards. Sorry NO Checks! Payment is received prior to the service while your paperwork is being completed.

Suggested Donations for Tattoo Services: We price out tattoos by the piece. Our studio rates are $20/sq. in. for full color or black and gray designs. There is a $40 minimum. Hourly prices are reserved for large pieces. You must come into the studio to get a price. We only honor written quotes.

Body Piercing Services: All Body Piercing is currently start at a LOW $40 and include the jewelry at no extra charge. Because of health regulations we can not use your jewelry.

Deposits: The Deposit guarantees your appointment with your artist. The Deposit for an appointment is $40 per client/appointment. The Entire Deposit applies toward your service. Deposits are a guarantee against service. You are guaranteeing you will use the time as agreed and that you will be on time. Deposits are non-refundable. Failure to keep your appointment or reschedule at least 24 hours prior to your appointment will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Deposits may be transferred providing 24 hour notice is given (except for Art Deposits).

Art Deposits: Art Deposits are taken when the Tattoo Artist is commissioned to draw or re-draw art for the client. The Art Deposit is $40 and also serves as the Deposit for your Appointment. Art deposits are applied to the price of the tattoo service unless you fail to use the art created, in which case the deposit reverts to the artist. Art Deposits may not be transferred or applied to the purchase of other goods or services. Minor modifications to commissioned art are allowed, but if you change to completely different art, your deposit will forfeit to the artist for their time and you will have to make a new deposit on the new art.

Reschedule Policy: Clients who reschedule, must do so at least 24 hours before the appointment or forfeit their deposit. Rescheduling less than 24 hours prior to service will require a new deposit to be made against the full price of the service. Clients who reschedule more than once will have to make a larger deposit for future appointments.

When You Come For Your Appointment: Arrive for your service 15 minutes before your appointment time so your paperwork can be completed. The time you schedule with your artist does not include paperwork. If you show up late it may shorten the time available to do your service and may make the completion of your tattoo require an additional appointment and cost more. Clients who are more than 15 minutes late may have to reschedule their appointment, forfeit their deposit and will be required to pay a higher deposit to reschedule.

Guests: Only ONE GUEST will be allowed in the studio for each client. Guests Must Remain Seated during service. For Minors – the guest must be the parent or guardian. Guests who become a distraction will be invited to leave.
